The Circus Clown

So I am 16 weeks into this and starting to feel better about myself and what is about to happen to my new and improved life.  The one thing I cant stand though - is the "novelty" attention.  I know, I know, everyone is excited about the new baby and everyone wants to see the changes you are going to go through, but quite frankly its annoying!  I know this is a cruel approach to this whole bringing a life into the world thing and dont get me wrong, I am overjoyed about it.  But sometimes I feel like some type of circus act that everyone wants to get a glimpse of, or see the circus clown in action and its always at the wrong time!  I already feel fat, bloated, nausea, ugly and annoyed - I dont need anyone else gauking over me, or making fun of something I say or do.  One of my best friends compared me to Miranda (SATC) when she was having Brady - she was excited about it, but couldnt take the "extra" excitement around her.

I guess this is what celebrities feel like when people stare at them all day and watch them to see their every move.  I am going to have to get used to this for the next 6 months but I dont have to like it!
